Assets Officer (Housing)

Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, Woven Housing Association, to recruit an Assets Officer on a temporary contract basis for a period of 12 months.Your new role You will help to ensure that Woven provides a quality, customer-focused response, cyclical and planned maintenance service. You will work closely with tenants, Community Assistants, joint management partners, contractors, suppliers, Building Inspectors and internal colleagues to ensure maintenance issues, inspections, contractor performance, financial processes and planned works are managed effectively.Key responsibilities will include dealing with telephone enquiries and personal calls from tenants, Community Assistants and other service users, ensuring maintenance queries are handled professionally and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.You will liaise with maintenance staff, contractors, suppliers, clients, joint management partners and outside agencies to ensure accurate information is provided, complaints are progressed effectively, and works are delivered in line with project, contract and service requirements.You will work closely with Housing Management colleagues and Community Assistants, liaising with supported living and jointly managed property contacts in relation to day-to-day repairs, planned maintenance, cyclical works and property-related concerns.A key part of the role will involve inspecting repair requests, identifying and diagnosing maintenance ..... full job details .....
