Asset Tool Care Technician Our client are a global supplier of innovative and sustainable plastic packaging solutions based in North Norfolk. They have a new opportunity for a Asset Tool Care Technician ideally with experience in injection moulding machines to join them Purpose: The Plastics Tool Care engineer / technician role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification, repair and refurbishment of multi cavity injection mould tools to assist the company in achieving maximum productivity and optimum customer service at all times. The tool care personnel work closely with production, maintenance, setting and technical departments. This could be offered as a full or part time position - Hours up to 40 hours per week- however can be 24 or 32 hours per week with a flexible working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate Main Areas of Responsibility Health and Safety awareness ensuring a zero accident mentality following all legal and company procedures. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks, and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Tool Room Team Leader Tool Care performance to plan including recording, resolving and escalating issues to meet defined Quality Criteria. Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on a variety of multi cavity injection mould tools and equipment, to ensure they are in proper working condition.
