Asset Tool Care Technician

We are working with a well-established manufacturer to recruit an Asset Tool Care Technician. This is a hands-on role focused on the installation, maintenance, modification, repair, and refurbishment of precision tools and equipment, helping ensure smooth operations and maximum productivity
The Role
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on tooling and equipment.
- Support tool installation, set-up, calibration, and refurbishment.
- Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime.
- Keep accurate records of toolroom activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace.
- Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Previous experience in a tooling, engineering, or maintenance role.
- Technical or engineering qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Confident using mechanical tools, measuring equipment, and repair techniques.
- Able to problem-solve, follow procedures, and work independently or in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Competitive hourly rate and overtime pay.
