I am seeking an experienced Asset Surveyor with experience in planned and capital investment works to join my leading client in the East Midlands on an initial 3 months contract. As a Asset Surveyor, you will be responsible carrying out property inspections and ensuring the provision of excellent service to resident and leaseholder customers. You have the opportunity to go from a 3 month contract with an hourly rate of -40 to a permanent role of -40,000 annually.

Successful candidates will have a HNC or HND Surveying qualification or a BSc in Surveying!

Responsibilities of the Asset Surveyor:

  • Oversee the inspections for general repairs raised and then sending it off to insurance companies to see whether the amount is approved, if not to re-inspect and raise schedule of works to contractors
  • The work will mainly be carried out on general tenanted properties for structural repairs or occasional fire inspections
  • Drawing specifications and raising and progressing works orders
  • Maintaining customer relations in occupied properties
  • Contract management
  • HHSRS/ Decent Homes work
