Asset Planner

NES Fircroft are recruiting an Asset Planner on behalf of our client, a global name in the Agricultural Science and Crop Protection industry. The Asset Planner will be based in the Manchester office for an initial 12 month contract, with potential for long-term work subject to business needs. Purpose To create and maintain the overall Formulation, Fill and Pack (FFandP) production plan at Toller(s), third-party manufacturing plant(s), providing options to manage variances in demand and supply.Execute order processing in SAP to fulfil agreed production plans.Order and schedule all raw materials, packaging and labels under Syngenta ownership for delivery to designated Toller locations in time to meet the production plan.Coordinate the supply chain to achieve ex-works shipment dates required by the customer. Key AccountabilitiesCreate and maintain a balanced production plan for the assigned Toller asset(s) over the current season, with a planning horizon of up to 12 months. Work with the Supply Chain Planner (SCP) to balance manufacturing responsiveness, cost efficiency and inventory.Facilitate resolution of Toller capacity issues with the appropriate SCP; maintain the plan accordingly and escalate where necessary to the Toll Production Manager (TPM).Support SCPs in developing Tactical Supply Plans (TSPs) and execute agreed TSPs.Provide regular forecasts to suppliers and place purchase orders for raw materials to ensure availability at the Toller in time for ..... full job details .....
