Maintenance Officer - Social HousingLocation: GlasgowContract: Temporary, 6 monthsSalary/Rate: EVH Grade 7RG Setsquare is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Officer for a six-month temporary contract with a Glasgow based housing organisation.This is a varied role covering reactive maintenance, void properties and property inspections. You will oversee works from inspection through to completion, liaising with tenants and contractors to ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.Key responsibilities:Carry out property, repair and void inspectionsDiagnose maintenance issues and specify required worksManage reactive repairs and void-property worksRaise, monitor and close repair ordersLiaise with tenants, contractors and internal teamsMonitor contractor performance, quality and timescalesEnsure works meet relevant health, safety and compliance standardsMaintain accurate records and provide progress reportsAssist with complaints and resolve repair-related issuesThe successful candidate will have:Previous maintenance experience within social housingExperience inspecting properties and managing repairs or voidsGood knowledge of housing maintenance and building standardsStrong contractor-management and customer-service skillsThe ability to manage a busy workload and work independentlyA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing maintenance professional seeking a six-month assignment ..... full job details .....
