The successful candidate will have strong experience in earthworks examinations, railway safety procedures and producing high-quality examination records to the required standards. Key Requirements COSS or IWA competency to work on the operational railway. Level 3 competency in Soil Slope Examinations (GEO-I-S) and Rock Slope Examinations (GEO-I-R) . Proven experience producing examinations to CIV/065 standard. Experience using the JBA Database and GizMapp . Good knowledge of railway geography and network capability. Strong understanding of railway Safe Systems of Work , including Separated Working, Possessions, Line Blocks and Blockades. Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload effectively. Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping. Good communication and customer-focused skills. Good IT skills and confidence using relevant operating systems.
