Job Title: Asset SurveyorType: 12 Month FTCLocation: South WalesSalary: £43,839.56Hours: 37 hours BRC are working closely with a leading organisation in the social housing sector to recruit an experienced Asset Surveyor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with strong project management, surveying and contract management experience to play a key role in delivering capital investment and improvement programmes. Managing and delivering allocated capital investment projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, colleagues, customers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and value for money. Duties:Manage projects through pre-contract, contract and post-contract stages.Manage multiple capital investment projects from inception to final account.Undertake site inspections and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.Monitor workmanship, materials, quality, programme and contractor performance.Identify and manage defects and non-compliant works through to resolution.Work closely with contractors, consultants, architects and engineers to resolve issues.Conduct site surveys and prepare specifications and tender documentation.Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, including CDM, Building Regulations, Party ..... full job details .....
