Job Title: Asset Care Technician
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 4 on 4 off – Night Shift (6:00pm – 6:00am)
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Asset Care Technician Summary:
The Asset Care Technician is responsible for maintaining and changing over key production equipment in accordance with daily schedules and planned preventative maintenance. This is a proactive maintenance role, focused on minimising downtime and ensuring production readiness. Reactive tasks are limited to failure of designated components.
Asset Care Technician Responsibilities:- Carry out scheduled maintenance on machinery including Rademaker, Foil Dispenser, Blockers, Tamper, Ejector, Mini Pie Line, Crimpers, Optimum Line, and more
- Complete planned equipment changeovers in line with the production plan
- Perform inspections, lubrications, and basic non-technical PPMs
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the die man room is clean and audit-ready
- Report and escalate issues with change parts or tools to the relevant teams
Requirements:
- Experience with mechanical maintenance and production line changeovers
- Familiarity with PPM systems and production line tooling
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work areas
- Engineering qualification
