Assembly Worker

Overview

We are recruiting an Assembly Worker on behalf of a client based in Stafford Park, Telford. You will play a vital role in constructing high-quality products efficiently and accurately. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials, ensuring that each component is assembled to meet strict quality standards. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. Temp to perm.

Duties

• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and wire components according to detailed specifications and diagrams
• Follow safety protocols consistently to maintain a secure working environment
• Inspect wiring and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and completeness throughout the production process
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
• Assist in inventory management by tracking parts used and reporting shortages or issues
• Support warehouse operations as needed, including loading, unloading, and moving materials

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly instructions and technical diagrams
• Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and hammers
• Familiarity with power tools like drills, saws, or pneumatic tools is preferred
• Previous assembly experience is essential
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
