Assembly Technician

A sector-leading manufacturer of low-volume, complex bespoke products has a new vacancy for an Assembly Technician to join its growing team. Working on a range of bespoke, low-volume products, you will be responsible for ensuring that assemblies are completed accurately and in accordance with customer requirements by interpreting technical drawings to identify the correct components, ensuring they are assembled to the required specification.

The Role

Read and work from technical drawings to understand how each product should be assembled.

Identifying the correct components and understanding how they fit together.

Check components for defects or quality issues before assembly.

Check alignment, positioning, fit and overall finish throughout assembly.

Carrying out thorough final quality checks.

Ensuring any problems are resolved before despatch.

Working closely with other production departments to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

The Person

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, engineering, production, quality control is advantageous.

Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings.

High standards and takes pride in the quality of their work

Confident identifying and raising quality issues.

Can follow instructions accurately.
