Contract Assembly Technician 2-Month Contract (with potential extension) Location: Bedford Pay: £15.00 £19.00 per hour (Umbrella Company rate) Hours: 37.5 40 per week Mon Thurs 08 00 Fri 08 45 (Breaks: 30 mins lunch 2x15 mins) Immediate StartWe are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician for a 2-month contract in Bedford, with the opportunity for the contract to be extended. You ll be involved in a variety of electro-mechanical wiring and assembly tasks, working to industry standards with precision and care.Key Responsibilities for the assembly technician:Build, terminate, and install harnesses including connectorsCarry out soldering, crimping, and connector assembly to IPC/WHMA-A-620 (or similar) standardsInterpret wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematicsUndertake wiring looms, termination, installation, and functional testingMaintain high levels of workmanship, cleanliness, and documentation complianceCollaborate with engineers and QA to meet regulatory and design requirements The appointed assembly technician will meet the following key requirements for the positionSkilled in crimping, soldering, and connector assemblyConfident with connectors and bench workAble to read and work independently from technical drawings/schematicsStrong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and quality-focusedExperience in regulated environments (aviation/defence ideal)Team player with good communication skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and professional team, ..... full job details .....
