Assembly Technician

We are currently recruiting Assembly Technicians for a fast-growing manufacturer based in Bury St Edmunds. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, working with both mechanical and electronic components. This is a permanent position following a successful three-month temporary probation period, with an immediate start available.

Pay & Hours:

• £12.71+ per hour, depending on experience.
• Monday to Thursday, 06:00–16:00.

Duties:

• Assemble mechanical components for engines with precision and attention to detail.
• Assemble electrical components and wiring as part of engine assemblies.
• Use hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Maintain a safe, organised and clean working environment.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to stay productive.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
