Assembly Technician

Our client are a global leader in security scanning systems and are currently experiencing high levels of growth. As such, they are seeking an additional Assembly Technician/Trainee Welder to join their production team The Role: This role involves the precise assembly and welding of components with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Training on welding will be given to the succesful candidate Key Responsibilities: Assembly, fabrication and welding of large X-ray tubes, following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and clean room protocols Using specialist tools and calibrated equipment Ensure compliance with safety standards (HSE, COSHH, compressed gases). Support manufacturing engineers with process improvements. Contribute to the development of work instructions and checklists. Essential Skills and Experience: Background in manufacturing or assembly roles Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Familiarity with mechanical handling and safe working practices Team player with a proactive and flexible approach (occasional shift swaps may be required) Willingness to undertake training on welding to a high standard Benefits Be part of a cutting-edge, mission-critical industry.
