Assembly Technician

Our client are a global leader in security scanning systems and currently experiencing high levels of growth. As such, they are seeking an additional Assembly Technician to join their production team Duties Building of high tech, complex machines from engineering drawings, diagrams and work instructions Undertake repair and rework of mechanical assemblies Interpret Electrical Wire schematics and undertake fault finding and rectification Responsible for quality of build Undertake prototype assembly and assist with Manufacturing Engineering on Project work. Requirements Experience of assembling complex electro-mechanical products Ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision. Ability to perform basic testing and problem solving GCSE level maths and English Good mechanical and workshop skills A good general technical and electro-mechanical mind-set e.g. understanding of electrical and mechanical documentation, drawings and specifications Hours of work: Initially Mon-Fri 8.00 to 4.00pm with a 3.30pm finish on Fri but may change to a shift role in the future as follows: Mon-Fri 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm Premier Placement Services are acting as a recruitment business for this role. ..... full job details .....
