Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Type: Temporary (for around 10-12 weeks)
Location: Luton
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm & Friday, 8am-2pm
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
 
Our extremely busy client based in Luton are currently looking for a number of Assembly Technician''s to help out with a large project within their Production area, on a Temporary basis for around 10-12 weeks. We are looking for candidate''s who are ideally available immediately, and come from an Electronics Assembly background who are able to hit the ground running immediately. 
 
Duties as an Assembly Technician:
- Assemble mechanical parts in accordance with defined build instructions & drawings
- Ensure all IPC-A-610 standards are met with accordingly
- Using a variety of tools and equipment to complete each job
- Perform regular quality checks, ensuring company standards are adhered to
- Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes
- Notifying Supervisory team of any imperfections or missed deadlines
 
What''s needed as an Assembly Technician:
- Previous experience within Electronics Assembly
- Strong attention to detail
- Ideally available immediately
- Previous use of relevant tools & equipment
- Must be able to work within a team and individually
