Salary: -28,000 -30,000 per annum (DOE)

We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a hands-on role assembling and inspecting in-house manufactured equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Connect wiring harnesses, crimp, and solder components
• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts, including tubing and fittings
• Support fault diagnosis and resolve assembly issues
• Report quality concerns and production issues
• Work to production targets and deadlines
• Assist with improving assembly processes

Experience:

• Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly
• Strong wiring, soldering, and crimping experience
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good technical understanding of materials and components
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
