Assembly Technician
Job Title: Assembly TechnicianLocation: Long CrendonContract Details: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) Benefits and Perks 20 days annual leave + UK bank holidays7% employer pension contributionDiscretionary Christmas shutdown periodStructured development programme with clear progression to Assembly Technician and advanced technical rolesFull training provided in soldering, crimping, and fibre optic terminationSupportive team environment and strong focus on quality and craftsmanship Responsibilities Assemble cable and fibre optic assemblies to works orders and technical drawingsTerminate connectors using crimping and soldering techniquesBuild fibre optic assemblies to manufacturer standards (full training provided)Prepare cables, connectors, and sub-assemblies for productionSupport repair and rework tasks as requiredConduct visual inspections of completed assembliesPerform basic electrical and fibre testing (training provided)Ensure all assemblies meet specifications and internal quality standardsComplete production, inspection, and test documentation accuratelyReport any issues or discrepancies to the Team LeaderPick and prepare materials accurately from stockFollow all health, safety, and quality procedures at all times Essential Skills: Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterityAbility to follow technical instructions accuratelyReliable, punctual, and ..... full job details .....
