Job Title: Assembly Operator Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary/Rate: 13.97 per hour (Day Shift) 16.06 per hour (Night Shift from September) Job Summary Swift Temps Ltd is recruiting for a detail-oriented, flexible, and reliable Assembly Operator for our client based in Bradford to support Night Shift operation. In this role, you will primarily assemble components, operate basic machinery, and ensure finished products meet strict quality standards. This position offers variety, as you may also be required to support other vital warehouse functions in the Intake and Despatch areas. The role starts on a fixed day shift and transitions to a permanent night shift schedule in September, which includes a significant pay increase. Working Hours and Pay Structure Current Schedule (Until September): Day shift, 05:45 AM to 17:45 PM at 13.97 per hour. Upcoming Schedule (From September): Night shift, 17:45 PM to 05:45 AM at 16.06 per hour. Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday Key Responsibilities Component Assembly: Assemble products using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment according to technical drawings. Warehouse and Logistics Support: Cross-train and complete operational tasks within the Intake (goods-in, checking stock) and Despatch (packing, loading, shipping) departments as business needs dictate.
