Assembly OperatorLocation: Poole, Dorset Salary: 13.70 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week + overtime availableAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Poole, Dorset.This is a hands-on position involving the assembly of push-button units and a variety of electronic and mechanical components. Working from technical drawings, diagrams and assembly instructions, you will use hand tools and carry out basic wiring to produce high-quality products that meet production and quality standards.This role would suit candidates with previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, electrical assembly or electromechanical environments who enjoy working with precision and attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble push-button units and electronic/mechanical components to specificationCarry out basic wiring and electrical assembly tasksRead and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and written instructionsUse a variety of hand tools safely and effectivelyInspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are metIdentify, report and escalate any defects or production issuesMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environmentFollow all company health and safety proceduresWork efficiently to production schedules and performance targetsSupport team objectives and continuous improvement activitiesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience ..... full job details .....
