Assembly Operative (Coachbuilding)Based in SandbachTemporary to permanent opportunityWorking hours - Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 3:30pm and Fridays 6:30pm - 12:00PM (overtime available also)Standard working hours = 39.5 per weekRate of pay 13.50ph during training period, thereafter increasing to 14.40ph Our client, a leading organisation within their field, is on the lookout for enthusiastic assembly operatives to join their coachbuilding team in Sandbach!As an Assembly Operative you will have the exciting opportunity to work on new vehicles, including the latest electric vehicles (EVs).Your responsibilities will include:Using air tools and hand tools to remove OEM panels from vehiclesCutting out and preparing vehicles for window installationsBonding and fixing windows to vehiclesFitting pre-cut wooden floors or smart floorsDrilling and fitting aluminium supports to the sides and roof structuresBonding additional panels to vehicles as required What We''re Looking For:Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; training is provided for the right candidate!Proven experience using hand and air tools.Candidates must have their own drill and driver.A willingness to work in a loud environment (PPE provided and training on safety procedures included).
