Assembly Operative Pay: £26,000 £35,000 per year + shift allowance Job Type: Full-time Permanent Location: BarnsleyWinner Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing company in Barnsley who are looking to recruit an Assembly Operative to join their production team.This role involves assembling mechanical components and belt systems while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.Working Hours (Rotating Shifts) Monday to Friday rotating shifts: Days: 6:00am 2:00pm Afternoons: 2:00pm 10:00pm Nights: 10:00pm 6:00am Enhanced shift allowances available.Key Duties Assembling components and finished products to engineering specifications Ensuring correct fit, alignment and finish during assembly Working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions Maintaining quality standards and production targets Keeping the work area clean and organised Completing production and quality records as required Requirements Previous assembly or production experience desirable Ability to read engineering drawings or bills of materials Good communication and teamwork skills Able to work independently and follow instructions FLT licence advantageous but not essential Practical hands-on interests (DIY, maintenance, building etc.) beneficial Benefits Competitive annual salary £26k £35k plus shift premiums Generous holiday entitlement Friendly working environment Permanent ..... full job details .....
