This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and modification of standard products, with responsibility for completing a variety of production tasks accurately, safely and to agreed deadlines. As an Assembly Operative, you will work closely with the Modification Centre Team Leader and colleagues across the operation, following engineering drawings and written instructions to ensure products are assembled and modified to the required specification. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret basic engineering drawings. Assemble and modify products in accordance with specifications and instructions. Follow written work instructions and established processes. Operate a milling machine. Carry out deburring, filing and application of touch-up paint. Operate a grinding machine. Operate a stud welder. Operate a wall saw. Use a range of general tooling confidently and safely. Provide technical support to customers by telephone and email.
