Assembly OperativeStaverton, CheltenhamFull-Time Permanent 37.5 hours per week12.65 per hourThe OpportunityOur client, a well-established and innovative manufacturing business operating within the transport technology sector, is seeking a Assembly Operative to join their production team.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking organisation that designs and manufactures technology used within transport infrastructure, helping to improve road safety and traffic efficiency both in the UK and internationally.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test electrical sub-assembliesAssemble and test completed systemsIntegrate electrical sub-assemblies into main productsAssemble components issued from storesComplete all relevant production and quality documentationUse a tablet-based system to:Access digital work instructions (paperless system)Attend online meetings and trainingSend and receive company emailsBarcode scan supplier information into spreadsheetsSupport stock control for production buildsMonitor and maintain stock levels at workstationsMaintain a clean and organised working area in line with 5S standardsFollow company processes and work instructions to maintain quality standardsParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesWorking HoursMonday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15Friday: 07:30 - 12:00Candidate RequirementsPrevious assembly or manufacturing experience preferredExperience working with electrical components desirableGood attention to detail and ..... full job details .....
