Assembly Operative

T&K Associates have an opportunity for an Assembly Operative to join our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

This position would be working for an established Company who have a friendly working environment.

Assembly Operative Job Details & Benefits;

• -12.90 per hour, increasing to -13.60 after 12 weeks

Assembly Operative Role and Responsibilities include;

• Assembling products including cabling and wiring
• Final assembly of cases (mechanical and electrical)
• Using hand tools
• Reading from a work sheet and following instructions
• Inspecting the product and carrying out safety testing
• Placing labels onto product
• Basic soldering
• All other associated tasks as required

Assembly Operative Person Specification;

• Previous experience within an assembly role is preferred however full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to produce high quality work and work from drawings
• Dextrous and able to work on small products
