Assembly Operative

We''re looking for a Electronic Assembly Operative to join our well established and respected client based in Leicester (LE19) on a full-time, temporary basis.Due to the nature of our client''s business, prior to starting there will be a vetting process and once this has been completed and successful, an immediate start will be expected.Hours: 07:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday and 08:00 - 12:00 FridaySalary: 12.71 per hour. Overtime paid at time and half. The Role:Your duties will include the manufacture and repair of electronic monitoring products. Key responsibilities include:Mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly of electronic devices and modules.Capable with training, of operating a variety of powered tools used in the production of electronic monitoring equipment (to include Pillar Drills, Ultrasonic Welders, Electronic Test Equipment, Bar-Code Scanners, Labelling and Weighing Machines).Typical daily duties necessitate the ability to work machinery repetitively whilst maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. This could involve standing for long periods of time.Low level soldering and solder station tool maintenance.The ability to work as an individual or as part of a team is essential.Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.
