Assembly Operative

About the role:We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling steel frames using a variety of hand tools and equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.Key responsibilities:Assembling steel frames to specification using hand tools, guillotines, and rivet gunsReading and following assembly instructions and technical drawingsPerforming manual handling of steel components safely and efficientlyInspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are metKeeping work areas clean and organisedWorking as part of a team to meet production targetsShift pattern:Week 1: 6:00 am - 2:00 pmWeek 2: 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm, with Fridays offShifts alternate weekly, offering variety and a long weekend every other week.About you:Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferredConfident using hand tools and basic mechanical equipmentComfortable with manual handling and physically demanding tasksGood attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAble to work well both independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and safety-consciousA full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential due to shift patterns and location If you are a motivated individual looking to build a career in a dynamic production environment, we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
