Production Operative

We are looking for a reliable and practical Production Operative to join a manufacturing team based in Avonmouth, BS11 9EB.
This is a hands-on role working with metal components and carrying out a range of basic manufacturing tasks. Previous experience in production, manufacturing or metalwork would be beneficial, but the most important qualities are a good work ethic, reliability and the ability to work independently.
The Role
The role will involve working with metal parts and completing repetitive manufacturing tasks accurately and safely.
Your main duties will include:
- Loading metal parts into a small manual press
- Removing rough edges from parts using deburring techniques
- Marking and identifying parts
- Carrying out other basic hands-on manufacturing duties
- Working with metal components
- Completing repetitive tasks accurately and consistently
- Following instructions and production processes
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or machine loading
- Ideally, some experience working with metal or within a metalwork environment
- A practical and hands-on approach
- The ability to follow instructions accurately
- A reliable and sensible attitude
- The ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Good attention to detail
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn

Monday to Thursday: 07:15 – 16:00
Friday: 07:15 – 12:00
Pay: £13.00–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
