Location: Folkestone, Kent

Temporary work with the potential for long term assignments and permanent roles.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: -12.71ph

We are currently recruiting for two Assembly Operatives to join a manufacturing business based in Folkestone.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role working within a small production team. You will be involved in assembling products, preparing finished goods for dispatch and supporting general production activities. The role requires a practical approach, attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a busy manufacturing environment.

Typical duties include:

• Assembling products using hand tools and production equipment.
• Handling and moving materials safely within the production area.
• Fitting components and completing assembly work to quality standards.
• Packing, labelling and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or assembly environment.
• Confidence using basic hand tools.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• The ability to carry out manual handling tasks

Experience within assembly or manufacturing is essential. Any experience using workshop equipment or power tools would be advantageous but is not essential. This is a physically demanding and heavy role and you will be on your feet most of the day.
