Assembly Operative

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Bishop''s Stortford. Working within the Production Department, the successful candidate will carry out a range of assembly and operational processes, including the manufacture of engineering spares and accessories, media blasting, bonding and curing of tanks, and kit replenishment to production assembly lines. Roles and Responsibilities Assemble machine accessories including baskets, hose connectors and trollies. Produce sub-assemblies and spare parts for engineer orders, including electrical and mechanical products. Prepare and media blast a variety of tanks under controlled conditions. Clean and prepare tanks, apply transducers and prepare products for oven curing. Dismantle jigs and dispatch completed products to assembly lines. Maintain machines and ensure the blasting and bonding areas are kept clean, safe and organised. Manufacture finished goods and sub-assemblies for production lines. Assist with stock management, kit replenishment and production line support when required. Read drawings and follow work instructions accurately to ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards. Experience, education and qualifications Previous experience within a relevant production, manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred; alternatively, candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of and enthusiasm for the role.
