Pay Rate: £14/hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:20am - 16:00pm

Job Description

We are recruiting for a skilled Assembly Operative to join a close-knit team in Wigan, constructing large units for industrial use. This is a temp-to-perm role with real potential for progression as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling high-quality units to specification, both indoors and outdoors
• Working in a small team (3-4 people) with a focus on safety and precision
• Using power tools such as drills, saws, bench saws, and grinders
• Following diagrams and specification sheets to ensure top-quality builds

Essential Skills andamp; Attributes

• Safety-first mindset and attention to detail
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Able to follow instructions and work independently
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, proactive, and a great team player

Desirable Skills

• Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Own transport or local to Wigan
• Willing to work overtime
• Solid foundation in Maths andamp; English
