Assembly Operative - Permanent Role
Location: Carlisle
Hours: 40 hours per week
Overtime: Regularly available, with enhanced rates
We are looking for a Assembly Operative to join our client''s manufacturing team. You’ll play an important role in assembling and testing parts and products, ensuring everything is completed accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with an engineering background who takes pride in their work, can interpret technical drawings and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble parts and products accurately and efficiently as part of the conveying manufacturing team.
- Test assembled conveying products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Carry out routine quality checks and testing throughout the assembly process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within your process and work area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team while meeting agreed production deadlines.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience and/or relevant qualifications within an engineering discipline.
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- The ability to work effectively to deadlines.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- A flexible approach and willingness to work agreed overtime when required.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
