Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Wellingborough

Salary: £28,000

Hours of work: Mon to Fri 08:30-17:00

Interaction Recruitment are supporting our client in Wellingborough with their hiring of an Assembly Operative. Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist hose assemblies supplied to breweries, food producers, and industrial customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Assembly Operative to join their production team.

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling hose products to customer specifications, carrying out quality inspections, and ensuring all products meet the highest standards before being dispatched.

• Assemble hoses and associated components to specification.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out quality control checks throughout the assembly process.
• Identify and rectify errors before products are released for delivery.
• Assist with stock control activities, including regular stock takes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.

• Previous experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience carrying out quality checks and inspections.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Experience with stock taking and inventory management is desirable.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality products.

• Salary of £28,000 per annum.
