Job title: Assembly OperativeLocation: Lympne, KentHours of work: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday (Overtime available on Fridays as and when the business requires)Salary : 12.80 per hour Job Type: Full time/permanent We are recruiting an Assembly Operative to join our clients busy production team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for assembling products to a high standard, ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency in every unit produced.Key responsibilities:Accurately assemble components and finished products following written instructions, drawings and work ordersPerform quality checks at each stage and report any defectsMaintain a clean, safe and organised workstationMeet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanshipAssist with packing and labelling finished goods as requiredComplete basic production records and follow standard operating proceduresEssential skills and experience:Proven ability to assemble products to a high standard with strong attention to detailAbility to read and follow assembly instructions and simple technical drawingsReliable, punctual and able to work as part of a teamPrevious experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is advantageousWorking conditions:Fast-paced production environmentStanding for long periods and occasional lifting of moderate weightsFlexible shift patterns may be required depending on production ..... full job details .....
