Job Advert: Assembly Operative (Security Equipment) - Temp to Perm - Perry Barr (B42)We''re recruiting an Assembly Operative to join a well-established company that manufactures security equipment. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The RoleYou''ll be assembling small metal components as part of the production process. The work requires good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and confidence using small hand tools. You''ll also complete your own quality checks to ensure products meet required standards. Key responsibilities:Assembly of small metal components for security equipmentUsing small hand tools safely and accuratelyUsing a hammer when required to align metal into placeCompleting self-inspection/quality checks during and after assemblyWorking to drawings/instructions and production targets Candidate RequirementsComfortable working with small parts and detailed assembly tasksConfident with small hand toolsA quality-focused approach and strong attention to detailPrevious assembly experience (small parts) is an advantage HoursMon-Thurs: 7:30am-4:00pmFri: 8:00am-1:00pm Pay 12.71 per hour LocationPerry Barr, B42This is a temp to perm opportunity with long-term prospects for the right person.
