Job Advert: Assembly Operative (Security Equipment) - Temp to Perm - Perry Barr (B42)

We''re recruiting an Assembly Operative to join a well-established company that manufactures security equipment. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

You''ll be assembling small metal components as part of the production process. The work requires good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and confidence using small hand tools. You''ll also complete your own quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Assembly of small metal components for security equipment
• Using small hand tools safely and accurately
• Using a hammer when required to align metal into place
• Completing self-inspection/quality checks during and after assembly
• Working to drawings/instructions and production targets

Candidate Requirements

• Comfortable working with small parts and detailed assembly tasks
• Confident with small hand tools
• A quality-focused approach and strong attention to detail
• Previous assembly experience (small parts) is an advantage

Hours

• Mon-Thurs: 7:30am-4:00pm
• Fri: 8:00am-1:00pm

Pay

• -12.71 per hour
