Assembly Operative

The Role We are looking for a practical, hands-on Production / Warehouse Operative to work with roadside technology signs and associated equipment. This is a physical role involving hand tools and basic power tools to prepare, modify, repair and assemble equipment.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Working Week: 40 hours per week

Main Duties:

• Use hand tools and drills to work on roadside technology signs and equipment.

• Scrape, clean and prepare signs, components and surfaces.

• Drill holes and fit brackets, fixings and other parts.

• Assemble and dismantle equipment as required.

• Carry out basic repairs and modifications.

• Check completed work to make sure it meets the required standard.

• Follow instructions, measurements and basic work specifications accurately.

• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe.

• Work with the wider team to achieve daily production requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• Comfortable carrying out practical, physical work

 • Confident using hand tools and basic power tools, or willing and able to learn.

• Able to follow instructions and measurements carefully.

• Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work.

• Safety-conscious and able to maintain a tidy working area.
