Starts are ASAP Assembly Operative - To support the production of manufactured products at a semi-skilled level. Key tasks include: • Door assembly production • Re-assembly of doors ready for final delivery • Use of hand tools Responsibilities and Duties: • To assemble/re-assemble doors and products to drawings using stock parts and materials including fitting of insulation materials. • Fit custom parts using hand tools. • Finish doors and products to a standard acceptable for final delivery to end user. • Complete product documentation in line with project requirements. • Assist with manual handling operations when necessary. • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace and report any potential risks or hazards to supervisors. • Carry out additional duties appropriate to the role and grade.
