Lodestone Recruitment are working with a specialist engineering company in Yeadon who are looking to recruit an Assembly Operative to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or electrical assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be involved in the build and testing of specialist machinery.

The Role

You will be responsible for assembling machinery and components to specification and supporting the wider engineering team.

Typical duties include:

• Mechanical assembly of machines and sub-assemblies
• Electrical panel assembly and wiring
• Installation and testing of pneumatic components
• Machine setup and testing prior to dispatch
• Supporting machine upgrades and refurbishments

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
• Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with a positive, proactive attitude
