Assembly Operative / Assembler

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer.  They are looking for an experienced Assembly Operative / Assembler to work in their busy factory.  This role will become permanent after successfully completing 3 months full work as a temporary agency worker.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a hands-on Assembly role in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment is essential.
• You must have experience of using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• You are able to follow diagrams and engineers instructions to assemble products.
• You can start ASAP, or with a very short notice period.

Shift Pattern: 2 Week / fortnightly rotating, 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm (Monday to Friday) 

Salary: £14.73 per hour (£12.95 basic + 13.5% shift allowance). Overtime (if available) will be paid at £19.43 if available.

Location: Holmfield HX2

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    To position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
•    To following engineering assembly drawings.
•    Utilising hand and power tools to assemble products whilst maintaining consistent quality.
•    Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.
