Assembly Operative / Assembler / Fitter

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for experienced individuals to join them as a Assembly Operative / Assembler (Semi-skilled Workshop Fitter). This is a practical role where you ll support the production process by assembling components to specification, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: Experience in production assembly or manufacturing environments Skilled with a wide variety of hand and power tools Able to read and interpret Engineering diagrams and instructions for builds Experience in vehicle body building, truck or coach building is a bonus Able to record activities and complete documentation accurately Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and team spirit Willing to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks Flexible with working hours and available for overtime when required Salary: £15.27 per hour + Overtime Hours of work: 40 hours a week, 6:00am - 4:30om, Monday to Thursday (+ Overtime on Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Key Responsibilities: Follow engineering drawings, build procedures, and instructions to assemble the company s vehicles using a wide variety of hand and power tools Take ownership of your own quality and inspect your work Support team members and assist with other operations as needed Be flexible and willing to move between departments when required Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive attitude This job would ..... full job details .....
