You will be responsible for loading steel coil onto a machine, operating the equipment to produce steel framing, and then assembling the finished frames using basic instructions and a variety of hand and power tools.The duties of the role include;Loading steel coil onto a decoilerOperating machinery to produce steel framingBundling and preparing steel frames for assemblyFixing and assembling steel framing on large jigsUsing air tools and power toolsFollowing basic instructions to complete assembliesPrevious steel framing or roll-forming experience would be beneficial, although full training on the machinery will be provided. The role would suit someone with a practical mindset who enjoys working with their hands and has an interest in mechanical work or DIY.A Counterbalance FLT licence would be beneficial but is not essential.This is a permanent position with a growing start-up business, offering the opportunity to join a small team and develop with the company.The role is -7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday5 hours per week 13.50 per hourPermanent positionIf you think this role is ...
