Assembly Operative

A Steel / Assembly Operative is required for a growing manufacturing company in the Wolverhampton area. You will be responsible for loading steel coil onto a machine, operating the equipment to produce steel framing, and then assembling the finished frames using basic instructions and a variety of hand and power tools.The duties of the role include;Loading steel coil onto a decoilerOperating machinery to produce steel framingBundling and preparing steel frames for assemblyFixing and assembling steel framing on large jigsUsing air tools and power toolsFollowing basic instructions to complete assembliesPrevious steel framing or roll-forming experience would be beneficial, although full training on the machinery will be provided.
