Assembly Fitter

On behalf of our engineering client based in Rochdale, we are looking for x 2 time-served mechanical fitter with previous engineering/mechanical experience to work within their team on a fixed term contract of 1-month+ to undertaking machine building, including assembling components and sub-assemblies.

Hours of work Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
Rate
Duration Fixed term contract (may be extended for the right condidate)

Essential requirements of the role: -

•Be time served with the relevant qualifications
•Have mechanical engineering experience
•Be able to read engineering drawings
•Be able to assemble machinery
•Have experience in the use of measuring tools
•Competent to use general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the role ofmechanical fitter
•Interpret work instructions and perform work to time and quality with a highattention to detail
•Willing to work overtime when required
