Salary: £14.00 – £16.50 per hour

A precision engineering company in Poole is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in sub-assembly of machined components to aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components to exacting aerospace requirements
• Perform tasks such as:
• Staking bearings
• Installing Heli-Coils
• Valve assembly
• Beading using aerospace-grade sealants (e.g., PR1770)
• Self-inspect and test completed assemblies
• Interpret 2D engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions and techniques accurately

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within an aerospace or precision engineering environment
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with pressure testing is advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
