JOB TITLE: Assembly Department Supervisor (Temp)HOURS: Monday to Friday.LOCATION: HorleyJOB TYPE: Temporary.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, fit, and modify machinery, components, and fixtures in line with technical drawings, procedures, and quality standards.Support the daily running of the Assembly Department and assist with meeting production deadlines.Ensure targets and departmental objectives are achieved.Monitor the quality of completed work and report any issues or improvements required.Identify and highlight any drawing, process, or assembly improvements.Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the department.Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures and internal processes.Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.Main DutiesComplete mechanical assembly tasks accurately and within agreed timescales.Use workshop equipment including drills, lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment.Manufacture or modify tools and components where required.Complete wiring and fitting of electrical components where necessary.Maintain tooling, equipment, and work areas to a high standard.Assist with stock checks and inventory control.Complete all relevant documentation, including timesheets, work orders, and production records.Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.Support continuous improvement activities within the department.Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the business.Skills and ..... full job details .....
