Assembly and Wiring Technicians

We are currently looking for an experienced Wiring and Assembly Technicians to join a forward-thinking engineering company whose projects regularly involve genuinely novel technology. Working alongside the engineering and production teams at a modern facility, you will play a key role in the build and assembly of complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems, with the opportunity to develop your skills on products that are unlike anything else on the market. Duties to include:Carrying out high-quality wiring and assembly of complex electro mechanical systems and equipment.Wiring and crimping of cables, looms and harnesses.Undertaking detailed electro-mechanical assembly and integration of components, sub-assemblies and systems in accordance with drawings, build instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and technical documentation.Carrying out point-to-point wiring and panel assembly to a consistently high standard.Completing travellers, inspection records and other build documentation accurately and maintaining full traceability.Performing visual and electrical checks on completed work, including buddy checks, to ensure assemblies meet the required quality standards.Supporting the engineering team with fault finding, testing and problem-solving during assembly and integration.Identifying build issues, wiring errors or component problems and working collaboratively with engineering to ..... full job details .....
