Assembly and Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm OpportunityLocation: AshfordHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays, 7:00am - 11:00amWe are currently recruiting for an Assembly and Yard Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Ashford. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual who enjoys a hands-on role within a busy production and yard environment.Working as part of the operations team, you will be responsible for completing the final assembly of products, preparing orders for dispatch, and supporting yard activities to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities:Carry out final assembly tasks, including fitting nuts, bolts, locks, push pads, and other componentsAccurately pick, label, and pack customer orders from order sheetsWrap and package products carefully to prevent damage during transportationLoad and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficientlyComplete daily equipment checks and maintain accurate recordsWork collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production and dispatch targetsMaintain high standards of housekeeping across the workshop and yard areasSupport other departments and operational areas as requiredSkills and Experience Required:Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, yard, or production environmentAbility to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting dutiesComfortable working ..... full job details .....
