This role combines light assembly work with general stores and materials handling duties, supporting the smooth running of production and workshop activities.You will be responsible for assembling small components, managing incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring the stores area is kept organised and well-stocked. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out basic assembly of components and sub-assemblies following instructionsPick, pack, and issue materials to production and workshop teamsReceive, check, and book in deliveries accuratelyMaintain accurate stock records using internal systemsKeep the stores and assembly areas clean, safe, and well organisedAssist with stock checks and cycle countsSupport colleagues with general workshop and logistics tasks as requiredFollow health and safety procedures at all timesPerson SpecificationPrevious experience in assembly, production, warehousing, or stores is desirable but not essentialGood attention to detail and a methodical approach to workAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamBasic IT skills for stock control systemsPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasksReliable, punctual, and willing to ..... full job details .....
