Assembly and Production Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and hands-on Assembly and Production Operator to join our client''s friendly production team based in Hoddesdon. This is a versatile role suited for someone with a background in engineering or manufacturing who enjoys a mix of technical machine operation and physical workshop duties. Our client would also consider trainee candidates looking for an opportunity to learn and develop within the role. You will play a key part in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.The role is a full-time permanent position working from 7am - 4.30pm with a 30-minute break, Monday - Friday and offers a competitive rate of pay, plus generous holiday entitlement and an opportunity to work within a supportive and well-organised production setting.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Set up and operate Pillar drills and small air-operated assembly machinery.Technical Finishing: Perform precision metal polishing and ensure products meet quality specifications.Maintenance: Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of workshop machinery to ensure smooth operation.Logistics and Dispatch: Assist with packing finished goods and the loading/unloading of lorries.Safety and Organisation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.RequirementsExperience: Proven background in a manufacturing or engineering environment, although our client would also consider trainee candidates who ..... full job details .....
